CrowdPlay is a fast growing Boston based startup that’s redefining the fan experience for sports teams through a revolutionary – 365 day – loyalty & engagement program. Our mission is to provide teams with an established direct channel to their fanbase that increases engagement, rewards fans, and maximizes revenue through ticket sales & retention and interactive sponsorship opportunities—365 days a year.

The Team

CrowdPlay's engineering team is building the sports industry's most modern and innovative loyalty & engagement program. The interfaces you develop will become part of professional sports — being the first of its kind — purpose-built from the ground up to empower fan engagement & loyalty. They will become core to every professional sports team's ticketing initiatives. We are looking for a “team player” who is a quick learner, performs in a rapid development cycle, has a drive to surpass expectations, and an eagerness to share their work and knowledge. You'll be working in our value-oriented, autonomous engineering team — developing elegant yet simple mobile & web user interfaces based on Flutter and web-based apps with javascript.

Mobile App:

1) Dart/Flutter
2) Native iOS/Android experience a plus

Web Apps:

1) React.js

2) Typescript a plus

Backend:

1) Firebase

Responsibilities:

• Develop responsive and performant UIs from wire-frame designs and mock-ups.
• Ensure functionality for Android and iOS.
• Design tests for mobile/web applications
• Improve security of mobile/web applications

Key Qualifications:

• 1-5 years of proven Flutter and/or React.js production experience or impressive portfolio
• Passion for clean, scalable, testable code and intuitive user interfaces
• Grasp of common software patterns and best practices
• Excellent problem resolution, troubleshooting, and QA skills

Nice to Have:

• Advanced Unit and UI testing
• Flutter profiling and performance optimization
• Flutter debugging and the Dart debugger
• Experience as a native Android developer (Java or Kotlin)
• Experience as a native iOS developer (Swift or Objective-C)
• Understanding of HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript
• Capable of creating customized RenderObjects, and Custom Painters
• Documentation and technical-writing skills
• Open-source contributor
• Published your own packages in pub.dev
• Experience with Figma

Pay: $90,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
